Pigeons are so commonplace in most urban areas that we never give them a second glace. We seldom look to admire their patterns, their colouring, the curve of their wings, the iridescence of their feathers. We don't spare a moment to notice when they're in pain, ill, injured, a mess of string and hair tangled around their feet.

A Pigeon By Any Other Name is a magnetic polish with a dark grey crelly base, a scattering of black flakes, and a teal to purple multichrome magnetic pigment, reminiscent of the gorgeous plumage and multichrome neck feathers of the common pigeon.

Opaque in 2-3 coats. This polish has been magnetised in the cat eye, velvet, and glass bead effects by different swatchers.

This polish is inspired by Juliet, a feral pigeon that my partner and I found on the street, unable to fly, and subsequently took home where she now lives a life of comfort, care, and unconditional love!

A Pigeon By Any Other Name is a charity polish and $2 from each bottle sold will be donated to Freckle's Fellowship, an organisation that is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating pigeons who have nowhere to go, with special love and care for the particularly vulnerable.
